Training Well-Being

Training Well-Being

Strengthening Well-Being in Schools Together

As part of Work Package 3, the B4L project develops innovative training courses and workshop formats to sustainably promote well-being in schools. The project follows a holistic approach by actively involving students, parents, teachers, school psychologists, school social workers, and non-teaching staff.

Three Years for Sustainable Impact

During the first year of the project, universities, training centres, and companies will develop practical short- and long-term training courses as well as pilot projects in all partner countries.

In the second year, the training programmes will be implemented and evaluated. These include:

  • Basic training courses
  • Advanced training programmes
  • Practice-oriented and experiential workshops

In the third year, the results will be further developed, improved, and disseminated across Europe in order to expand the reach and impact of the methodologies.

Key Training Topics

The training content addresses current challenges in school environments and includes topics such as:

  • Emotional self-regulation
  • Mindfulness and stress management
  • Diversity, inclusion, and neurodiversity
  • Digital well-being
  • Physical well-being and health promotion
  • Training Well-Being Ambassadors
  • Social-emotional development programmes for the entire school community

Schools as Places of Well-Being

Through these training activities, B4L strengthens emotional competences, mental health, and social responsibility. Teachers and educational staff gain practical tools for creating inclusive and supportive learning environments. Students learn to take responsibility for their own well-being and for the well-being of their communities.

A special focus is placed on training “Well-Being Ambassadors” — young people and teachers who will help embed the topic of well-being sustainably within their schools.

Impact Across Europe

Over a period of three years, the project will reach hundreds of direct participants in several European countries, as well as many additional people through digital formats. In this way, B4L actively contributes to promoting health, equal opportunities, and European values in the field of education.

Expected Results

The work package will deliver:

  • On-site and online training opportunities
  • Tailored workshops
  • Digital learning materials
  • An online handbook
  • A project website and social media content
  • A professional promotional film

In the long term, the project aims to:

  • strengthen social and emotional competences,
  • improve mental health,
  • reduce bullying,
  • promote inclusive school cultures, and
  • establish sustainable European cooperation networks.
